Yet, there is no news on worldwide release, but we hope to get some in some time. It has already taken the gaming community by storm. All the Blade & Soul fans are quite excited, and many have also shared their gameplay.

After a not-so-great performance throughout the year, NCSOFT Corporation, the South Korean video game developer, is all set to restore the trust of players in them with the launch of Blade & Soul 2. Analysts have said that this game could improve the earning next year along with launches of other titles.

Dipping Into the History & Legacy of Blade & Soul 2

If you are still questioning the hype around this enormously multiplayer game, you must dig into the history it shares with the Esports world. It is a prequel to the main PC game that was launched in 2012.

Blade & Soul, which is mainly a Korean fantasy martial-arts game, was developed by NCSOFT. People still love playing this MMORPG for its fascinating storyline and top-notch combat. The side quests, exploring dungeons, and fighting monsters to reach the next level will surely glue you to your seat for hours until you achieve your aim.

The game has kept its fan anticipation for a long time! The news of it officially being released has first surfaced in November 2017. But, it faced multiple delays and rumors. Later, NCSOFT decided to delay the release to 2019. Then, as you can predict, it again faced a postpone to August 2021.

Now you know why the fans who religiously played the PC game since 2012 were eagerly waiting for this game. Blade & Soul 2 tickled nostalgia for many and was thus anticipated by such a colossal player base.

The Hype of the New MMORPG

Since the news of its release, Blade & Soul has recorded a whopping 7.5 million pre-registrations alone in South Korea. The pre-registration was just available from February to June this year. It broke all the records in the nation to set a new one. This launch can skyrocket the performance of NCSOFT after a year. The company’s net profit fell 51% just in the first half of the year just due to the lack of new game launches. NCSOFT targets gamers worldwide with the launch of the new MMORPG.

NCSOFT has promised Blade & Soul 2 to be a huge open-world MMORPG for players to explore. The developers have induced the game with PvP battles. Players will also have to face bosses. Winning against them will require robust strategies. However, those who aren’t familiar with this MMORPG must look at its teasers and trailers.

The company has also promised to incorporate a real-time translations system through artificial intelligence. This will allow players to communicate with each other despite not sharing a common language. This can also be considered a tactic for the developer to reach out to a larger audience. This technology can also help players over cross-platform play for consoles or PCs, starting from Nintendo’s Switch to Sony’s PlayStation 5.

Many fans of the previous PC version are still not clear whether there is a game’s mobile version. All the credit goes to the secret-keeping strategy NCSOFT. It is not clear whether they did this on purpose, but they didn’t show off the gameplay enough. Just some rendered versions of the gameplay were released. This naturally gave birth to curiosity amongst fans, which led to record-breaking pre-registration. Everything showcased so far is way too impressive and promises the players a never-like before gaming experience on a smartphone.

Exclusive Emulator for PC Gaming

The South Korean video game giant is set to launch Blade & Soul 2 and will also provide an emulator. The emulator will be exclusively designed with NCSOFT’s games. The emulator goes by the name ‘Purple,’ will not only consist of Blade & Soul 2 but many other games.

So, if you are ready to buy Blade & Soul 2 PC version, this must come to you as fantastic news. Several games for the price of one, who wouldn’t want that!

Concluding Thoughts

For anyone having an undying love for MMORPG games, this one might be a treat for them and a ride through nostalgia for many. It seems to be a promising one. The company has also promised the arrival of cloud gaming pretty soon. The combat can be addicting, and there are multiple classes that you can choose from. You can surely expect a lot more than just automatic battles. So it is better not to waste any more time and head straight to installing this game on your phone.
