The collaboration of Fortnite and Marvel Entertainment will get back Marvel’s biggest villain, Thanos, in the game. Epic Games has had several collaborations before in Fortnite, and the one with Marvel remains one of the best. Thanos’ comeback to Fortnite makes it “inevitable.” After its debut in Avengers Endgame Limited Time Mode three years back, Fortnite fans will experience him again in the game and can get the Thanos Outfit for free via Thanos Cup.
Thanos Cup Schedule
The Thanos Cup tournament has started in Fortnite and will run three-hour-long. Players will get an opportunity to complete ten duo’s matches in that given time. They can earn as many points as they want. Moreover, Fortnite players will get more Avengers-themed content with Back Bling and a Wall Spray emote, along with a Thanos skin.
Thanos will drop into Fortnite’s Item Shop at 8 pm ET on June 26, 2021. Players will be able to play as the Mad Titan himself, in spite of equipping the Infinity Gauntlet Back Bling (with all six Infinity Stones), inspired by Marvel Studios’ Avengers Endgame.
Divisions in Thanos Cup
Fortnite’s competitive mode has three leagues, distributed into ten divisions as the following:
- Open League: Division I (0 – 249 Hype points (“Hype”))
- Open League: Division II (250 – 499 Hype)
- Open League: Division III (500 – 999 Hype)
- Open League: Division IV (1,000 – 1,499 Hype)
- Contender League: Division I (1,500 – 2,499 Hype)
- Contender League: Division II (2,500 – 3,999 Hype)
- Contender League: Division III (4,000 – 5,999 Hype)
- Champion League: Division I (6,000 – 11,999 Hype)
- Champion League: Division II (12,000 – 15,999 Hype)

How to participate in Thanos Cup?
Fortnite players with an Epic Account having level 30 or more are eligible to participate in Thanos Cup, and along with this, 2FA should be enabled in the account. Players can play the tournament as duos, and they have to battle against other teams in all ten matches. Victory in a game will get them 42 points (Victory Royale), as per the scoring system.
Thanos Cup Rewards
Players have an opportunity to get Thanos’ Outfit and Back Bling inspired by Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Endgame by competing in the Thanos Cup before Thanos arrives in the Item Shop. The team with the best performance from each region will be eligible for Fortnite Thanos Cup rewards, and players having at least eight total points will receive the Thanos Watches.
