Rocket League Sideswipe: Release date, APK download, system requirements

Rocket League is one of the most popular vehicular-based soccer games developed by Psyonix, first released in 2015 for PC and PlayStation 4. Not only it has a huge player base worldwide, but the esports scene is also spectacular too which is watched by millions of fans worldwide, and more than $500 thousand worth of prize pool tournaments are organized.

Rocket League Sideswipe Release Date

As per the official press release by Psyonix, Rocket League Sideswipe is scheduled to hit the app stores by the end of 2021; however, an exact release date is not available yet. Before that, it will go through various testing states. A few days ago, the game was made available for a limited time in Australia and New Zealand for regional Alpha testing (which has ended now). Psyonix mentioned that they would be announcing more regions in the coming months.

Rocket League Sideswipe was currently made available just for Android devices for limited period Alpha testing in Australia and New Zealand. As mentioned before, Psyonix will launch the game in additional regions in the coming months. You will be able to download it on Android devices by following the steps mentioned below:

Before starting the downloading process, make sure that you are currently in one of the regions with access to the game.
Go to Google Play Store and search for Rocket League Sideswipe.
Click on the first app having Psyonix as the developer.
Click on the Install button, and the game will get installed automatically.

If you don’t find the game on the search results, this means maybe you are not in the correct region, or there are no more slots available for testing. As of now, it has not been made available for iOS but will be announced soon by the developers.
