Samsung has finally unveiled its latest spectacle- the world’s first mini LED curved gaming monitor. The latest innovation from Samsung is sure to revolutionize the gaming industry. With a power-packed display and quantum matrix display, the new Samsung Odyssey Neo G9 outshines all others. It promises to deliver an unparalleled gaming experience. For many gamers, game resolutions and displays play a vital role in distinguishing the game. While many modern games come with high-definition graphics, most hardware is not the correct strength to deliver the dazzling experience. However, the new Samsung gaming monitor outshines others when it comes to amazing displays and in-game visuals. The mini-LED curved screen is a first in gaming monitors and promises to deliver an unreal gaming experience. As the modern-day gaming world progresses, people are more focused on the boundaries of gaming mechanisms.

How will Samsung’s latest innovation influence gaming?

With quantum matrix display and integrated quantum HDR 2000, the Samsung Odyssey Neo G9 promises to deliver an immersive experience in terms of gaming. Gaming monitors play a big role in glorifying the gaming experience. Visuals are almost always the most important aspect to weigh a game apart from the gameplay itself. The new gaming monitor promises to deliver the best gaming visuals in the market. Even the dullest animations can come back to life with the immersive viewing experience in the Odyssey Neo G9. Previously, gaming expectations were limited to high-caliber systems with strong RAM and SSD connections. But the visuals are not far behind in terms of gaming priorities. A bad viewing experience can also ruin a good gaming experience. Therefore, it is important to emphasize the graphics and visuals to create a more immersive experience.

Last year, Samsung launched the predecessor to the new gaming monitor- Odyssey G9. It was already a big hit in the market, delivering the best gaming experience. With strong graphics quality and viewing experience, the Odyssey G9 has already made a name for itself. Now the latest inclusion in the Odyssey series comes with an additional mini LED curved screen. That’s first for gaming monitors.

The new Odyssey Neo G9 delivers a 49 inch wide viewing experience that wraps around the gamers’ view. It boasts a 1000R curvature and Mega DCR to up the viewing experience. One can experience brightness up to 430 cd/square meter. Everyone knows that even the slightest difference in equipment can cause a player to lose a match. Thus Samsung packs a wholesome 240 Hz refresh rate and fast 1ms response time on the monitor. The new Odyssey Neo G9 will serve as the pioneer of gaming monitors that will soon revolutionize the gaming experience.

A powerful gaming experience that is unparalleled

But what motivates Samsung to deliver such a power-packed gaming experience and go beyond the boundaries of innovation? Hyesung Ha, Senior Vice President of Visual Display Business at Samsung Electronics, answers the question. He says, “ Samsung addressed the demands and expectations of even the most demanding gamers with the launch of the groundbreaking Odyssey gaming monitor portfolio last year. With the introduction of Odyssey Neo G9, equipped with Quantum mini LED displays, we are excited to offer a state-of-the-art gaming experience to our customers and demonstrate our continued leadership in the market.”

The Samsung monitor comes with the new Quantum mini-LED light source. It stands at 1/40 the height of a conventional LED and packs more incredibly thin micro-layers of more LEDs. This is further strengthened by the Quantum Matrix technology, which is known for harnessing enhanced 12-bit gradation of the light source. As a result, the dark areas get darker, and the bright areas get brighter with 2048 dimming zones. This helps to deliver the most realistic viewing experience possible. As a result, the new Odyssey Neo G9 delivers a top-notch viewing experience with a peak brightness of 2000 nits. This is made possible by the Quantum HDR 2000, which is also certified by the Verband Deutscher Elektrotechniker. Furthermore, it packs a static contrast ratio of 1000000:1.

Highlighting features

The Samsung Odyssey Neo G9 delivers a 49-inch immersive Quantum mini-LED curved display with a 32:9 aspect ratio. It also packs a Dual Quad High Definition resolution of 5120×1440. There is adaptive sync on DP1.4 and HDMI2.1 VRR on the new Odyssey Neo G9. It comes with NVIDIA G-SYNC compatibility and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro to boost the gameplay experience scene by scene. As a result, one can easily fit the display in any gaming setup. The monitor has a glossy white exterior and a futuristic rear infinity core lighting system, including 52 colors and 5 lighting effects. In addition, there is a CoreSync feature provided with the monitor to facilitate multiple color modes for the users.

The Samsung Odyssey Neo G9 comes with a screen size optimizer, black equalizer, and low input lag mode to deliver all kinds of gaming experiences. In addition, a refresh rate optimizer and a super arena gaming UX feature were added in the Neo G9. The display boasts a peak brightness of 2000 cd/square meter.
