In an unexpected crossover event, Fortnite players can now embark on a quest with characters from The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Ciri and Yennefer, beloved characters from Geralt of Rivia’s world, have made their way into the popular battle royale shooter.

New Islands and Exciting Rewards

To immerse players further into The Witcher universe, two dedicated islands have been added to Fortnite x namely Ciri’s Escape and Yennefer’s Battleground. These captivating locations can be accessed through the game’s Discover tab, or players can quickly land on the islands by using specific codes.

For Ciri’s island, enter code 2776-4034-8400. For Yennefer’s island, use code 2862-9616-5689.

Exploring and completing challenges on these islands will reward players with emoticons of both characters. Completing both islands unlocks an exclusive banner to showcase their achievements. These exciting additions will be available until July 4, 2023.

Equippable Fortnite Skins and Unique Features

While the islands offer immersive experiences, the true allure lies in the new equippable new Fortnite skins available for purchase. Yennefer can be acquired individually for 1,500 V-Bucks. Or as part of a bundle. Including her Megascope pickaxe, bird skull back bling, and the Black Wings emote, for 1,800 V-Bucks.

On the other hand, Ciri Fotnite Skin is only available in a pack priced at 2,000 V-Bucks. The pack includes Ciri’s silver sword Zireael as a pickaxe, back bling, and a basilisk glider.

These Fortnite skins come with unique features that enhance the gameplay. Ciri’s hands will emit a green glow when wielding her Zireael Sword Pickaxe, adding an extra touch of magical flair.

Yennefer, known for her strength and prowess, is a true embodiment of a powerful character that players can now embody in Fortnite.

Geralt’s Absence and Future Possibilities

While Ciri and Yennefer from The Witcher have joined the Fortnite x roster, Geralt of Rivia, the iconic protagonist from The Witcher, is notably absent.

Previously available to Battle Pass owners in Chapter 4 Season 1, Geralt’s Fortnite skin is no longer for sale. However, players who unlocked him during that time can continue using the Geralt skin in their battles.

Although Geralt’s return seems unlikely, fans can speculate about potential future versions, perhaps inspired by Henry Cavill’s portrayal of the character in the hit Netflix series. Only time will tell if Fortnite players will have another opportunity to wield the White Wolf’s powers on the battlefield.

Fortnite x The Witcher Collaboration Continues

The inclusion of Ciri and Yennefer in Fortnite marks another successful collaboration between Epic Games and The Witcher franchise. As anticipation builds for The Witcher season-3 on Netflix, fans can now enjoy an immersive experience in Fortnite, exploring new islands, and battling opponents while embodying iconic characters from the fantasy world.

Fortnite continues to surprise gamers with its diverse collaborations, bridging different gaming universes and creating new and exciting experiences for its players. From The Witcher to Assassin’s Creed, and even Zoo Tycoon, the game welcomes all gamers to join the fun.

As players flock to Fortnite to take part in this unique crossover event, it’s clear that the adventures of Ciri and Yennefer are far from over, as they embrace the thrilling challenges that the battle royale world has to offer.
