Jake Paul and Logan Paul have been very clear about their intention to join the Twitch gaming community for streaming Fortnite. With that, people have started to speculate if it is a genuine move Paul brothers are planning to take. Most people believe its only a reactionary response to the success of “Ninja” (Tyler Blevens) in Fortnite streaming. In this article, we will discuss the possible motives of the Paul brothers for getting into the Twitch streaming and gaming communities.

Jake and Logan Paul Fans

With the Paul brothers coming to Twitch, the first thing we must discuss is their fans and the toxicity they possibly might bring to the site with them. They might abuse some aspects of the website. Not to forget, the entry of Jake and Logan Paul may hurt or affect other people in the community.

While there is nothing wrong with huge YouTubers going to Twitch, we do believe that specific communities tend to be toxic. So if personalities associated with those communities join a site like Twitch, they might attract that toxicity to the platform.

Here is a cool discussion on Logan brothers and whether they should be allowed by Twitch

Rules

Another question that arises with their entry is whether or not the site’s management will do anything to keep the brothers in check, considering their problematic past. Whether the Twitch officials will force them to follow the rules like other people or give them leeway. Another essential point to think about if it is okay for Twitch to invite controversial people to its community, just for publicity.

We wonder how many people will inspect Logan Paul’s activity on Twitch. While Twitch’s official moderators will without a doubt keep an eye on him, many ordinary patrons might watch his stream too, purely out of spite. They will be waiting for a chance to catch Logan Paul/his fans break any rule. We are sure that he will get highly scrutinized for every mistake, way more than a typical streamer.

Furthermore, it is also possible that the toxicity that comes with the Paul Brothers’ community may result in a halt from high-profile sponsors such as Amazon. They may back away if the platform fails to ensure Logan Paul does not do anything controversial while streaming.

Jake Paul’s Streaming Channel

Apart from Logan’s entry to the streaming platform, Jake Paul has created a Fornite-related channel on Twitch. Unsurprisingly, he caused controversy for announcing he donated to his favorite Twitch streamer in a Youtube video. While the thumbnail of the video initially featured Ninja, Jake actually gave money to streamers who were part of his “Team 10” organization.

Again, this highlights the dishonesty associated with the Paul Brothers’ brand. Jake Paul consistently engages in sketchy practices like this for views. He used Ninja’s picture as clickbait for the publicity of his brand. Not to forget, donating to his own organization might be considered a tax write-off.

Motives

Lastly, with the influence and money behind the brothers, we wonder if they are possibly planning to create an esports team. Maybe, that is their motive for joining Twitch and gaming communities. Despite their wealth and reach, it is essential to consider if they even have the necessary organizational skill to pull it off. Also, what can they do for the esports industry if they plan to do something like this?

However, it is also possible there is no hidden motive at all. With Logan and Jake Paul, you never know.

With tweets like these, we can’t really tell.

Donated $200k to my fav twitch streamer!! Biggest donation in twitch history!!

Final Thoughts

We still wonder if the Paul Brothers are somehow capable of bringing something positive to the platform. Their influence and popularity will undoubtedly attract more people to Twitch. However, if all the attention is negative, should we look for the silver lining? Especially, considering Jake Paul’s actions, should we really give the Paul Brothers a chance?
