eSports player, Uzi announced his retirement on the 3rd of June 2020. Jian Zihao or was a famous player of LOL(League of Legends). He was considered hands down one of the top League of Legends players in history.

Zihao made his debut back in 2012, and since then, he was dominating the scene in League of Legends. Uzi was a player of the Chinese team called Royal Never Give Up. On Weibo, he told his fans that he’s retiring from the gaming scene.

Reasons Behind The Retirement of Uzi

We can count up to 2-5 reasons behind the retirement of Uzi.

As quoted by Jian Zihao himself,

“Because of chronic stress, obesity, irregular diet, staying up late and other reasons, I was found to have Type-2 diabetes during a physical examination last year.”

As a gamer, He was suffering from chronic stress, obesity, irregular diet & sleepless nights. All the factors contributed to the inevitable. He was diagnosed with Type-2 diabetes last year. Although several forums were discussing Uzi’s health issues since last year, he broke the news himself on the 3rd of June 2020.

Royal Never Give Up(RNG) Take On Uzi’s Retirement

RNG, the team Uzi has been representing for years, took the stage and told everyone about the real reason for retirement. Royal Never Give Up cited,

“injuries accumulated over eight years of high-intensity training”

As the primary fall for Uzi.

Royal Never Give Up described him as the heart & soul of their team but also a star in the world of eSports. RNG said that they are backing up Uzi in every aspect of life so that he can recover and come back stronger. Moreover, they added,

“We are here to help him recover 100 percent.”

The team is helping Uzi to get over this harsh period as quickly as possible. They want to see the star return with a bang!

The Achievements Of Uzi

Uzi trophy cabinet is full of awards & achievements. He won the first individual award back in 2016 as an All-Star 1v1 winner. The next year, he once again swiped the award of All-Star 1v1 competition. We can bet that Uzi can’t forget the year 2018 as he won four individual awards. He was the Most Valued Player in LPL Spring Playoffs, LPL Summer Playoffs, Mid-Season Invitational & Asian Games in 2018.

Lessons Learned from Uzi’s Career

Jian Zihao had a phenomenal career in eSports. People consider Uzi as one of the top players of LOL. As a gamer, you should learn a few lessons from the life of Uzi. Although he was a great player, bad routine sank his career. If you are a gamer, don’t take your health for granted, as it can ruin your career in 321. Maintain a proper routine, exercise, take care of your mental health & always take a break!
