Lineage 2 happens to be one of the most popular games in South Korea. You will find 3 out of 5 Koreans playing this game. The gameplay of the game and its story have made it so popular among players. Lineage 2 was released on the 1st of October 2003. This one here is a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game. It is also the second game under the Lineage series. Even though it is the second game, it is a prequel to Lineage. The game is set 150 before the first game. The game was developed by NCSOFT and published by Tencent, Innova, and NCSOFT.

Running on Unreal Engine 4, it does not compromise with the graphics. Even on your smartphone screen, Lineage can give you a PC-like vibe. It has the potential to offer you massive 3D scenes with multiple characters at that time. This is clearly one of the many reasons why this game is so utterly popular throughout South Korea. In this article, we will get to know more about this game.

Fits Perfectly In Your MMO

Lineage 2 is going to run as smooth as butter on your mid-range smartphone as well. The graphics of the game is vibrant and fascinating. But, in case if you want to lower the graphics, you can do that as well by going to graphical settings. You will be able to visit any zone despite the level you are at. But, once the level upgrades, the zone will be traversed. The higher levels will be challenging but will also keep you in the path of progression. The quests that are situated in each area will have a minimum level requirement. You can attain this level by completing day-to-day tasks.

All Sorts of Quests that You Need to Complete

In Lineage 2, you will get Weekly Quest, Daily Quests, and Quest Scrolls. These will be your key to level up. Start from completing the Daily Quests. You can complete as many as 12 quests a day. As the difficulty level rises, you will start to get better rewards. For beginners who may fail to complete all the quests, there is a fascinating system. The quests that are not completed manually will get completed after a specific time.

There are Weekly Quests as well. You can complete 105 Weekly Quests each week and about 15 Weekly Quests each day. However, the first 60 Weekly Quests will be considered towards any additional rewards.

Last but never least, the Quest Scrolls! If you do not pay much attention, you may miss out on them. You can finish around 5 Quest Scroll a day. If you want a quick level up, try to finish the higher-grade scrolls. You can even combine 5 Quest Scrolls to make a single Quest Scroll. This will be one grade better.

The Tutorial Helps You Learn

It is a common mistake for any player to skip the tutorial. We say “yeah, whatever” and hit ‘skip’. But, you may not want to make the same mistake with this game here. Well, you may skip parts of it but not the whole tutorial. Once you complete the tutorial, you will be rewarded with armour pieces, incredible weapons, Soul Crystals, and many other benefits. If you hit ‘skip’ on the tutorial, you will not receive any of the above. These rewards and elements will boost your level, thus do not skip them.

Know What To Do With Adena

You will require potions if your  MP or HP falls below a certain level. It is by default set at 80, but there will be times when it falls. You will receive potions as a reward for your quests, but you may want to be wise about potions usage. There is a setting by which you can control which potion will be automatically used. You can set the percentage from 30 to 50 per cent. This will eventually lead you to save more Adena. Try not to put the percentage too low.

Be careful while combining—upgrading equipment and levelling up. When you are just prioritizing levelling up, you may run out of all your Adena. Hence, level up only when required. Keeping 90,000 Adena in hand will help you out during tricky times. You will need the Adena to buy Soulshots and extra potions.

Follow These Tips to Level Up Faster

Suppose you are focusing on quick levelling up for now. You can check out these fantastic tips. However, it may still take you few days to reach your desired level –

  • Try to use automatic movement. The game will be a lot easy once you use the automated attack system and automatic movement.
  • Just at the beginning of the match, decide which armour you want to use. Wearing a match armour set will get you a special bonus and help you level up quickly.
  • If possible, try to join an active clan. It will get you temporary boosts and access to dungeons.
  • Trust us on this. Your combat point is more important than the character level. Keep increasing CP. You can do this with high-level equipment and better runes.
  • Save up the red gems. These gems will help you reset the daily dungeons. You can get special ingots in these dungeons. It will increase the grade of an object.
  • Lineage 2 is entirely playable on Android. But, playing on the PC will surely give you many other benefits.

Concluding Thoughts

When it comes to rewards and opportunities, there is no end to it in Lineage 2. The higher you go, the more exciting activities you unlock. From fascinating for sieges to 15-minute raids, all of these will keep you engaged. Your game gets even better once you join a clan. You can play Lineage 2 free of cost for as long as you want. Paying in this game will surely give you some fantastic benefits, but they are not compulsory. Keep your eyes and ears open to learn new strategies and tips throughout the game. You will be amazed by how much you can gain by putting in the limited effort.
